First Summit Everest Clean Up Expedition 2007

Welcome to the First Summit Everest 2007 clean up web site. The aim of this website is to generate funds in order to facililate a clean up of the mountain on its southern slopes up to the south col. This is not a personal climbing site. It is not funding a team up the mountain with personal climbing goals, infact the clean up team will not attempt the summit, climbing no higher than the south col on the mountain.

Therefore all proceeds from the site will go towards the recruitment of a team of sherpas specifically employed in order to remove rubbish from the slopes of the mountain next spring. The minimum donation is $1 US. Every donator will feature in the donators list. For every donator who donates $100 US or more, then you will feature on the Pixel Mountain of the North Side of Everest.

If you are a passionate lover of the outdoors and the mountains of our planet then do something about it today. Just a small donation of $1 US will help in the goal of raising enough funds to be able to eleviate Everest of some of the rubbish that is still high on the mountain.

  • Make your clean up donation by clicking here. Just $1 US dollar is all we ask.
  • See the donators list so far.
  • If you donate $100 to the clean up costs you will feature on the pixel mountain.
  • The five largest donators in the list by Feb 2007 will become the expedition sponsors
  • Rubbish will be brought back to the UK for public viewing to raise awareness of the envoronmental impact of the commercialisation of Everest.
  • Once you have donated through the Paypal link First Summit will email you immediately and if you have donated $100 US we will arrange the placement of your ad on the Pixel Mountain usually within a couple of hours.
